FAQ

Does "Pre-Built" mean that my sauna will deliver fully assembled?

No it does not. Your sauna will arrive broken down and carefully packed in a large crate. Roughly 4' wide x 8' long x 4' tall.

An outdoor Pre-Built sauna arrives in two large crates!

Your heater, rocks and other sauna accessories will arrive separately on a 4'x4' pallet.

How long does it take to get my sauna?

Your sauna is made to order. Please allow 6-8 weeks for indoor Pre-Built saunas, 8-12 weeks for outdoor Pre-Built saunas.

How hard is it to install a Symmetry Pre-Built sauna?

That depends. How handy are you??

It is much less involved than building a custom sauna, but it is still a construction project! The walls come in panels that must be assembled and attached correctly. The benches are heavy and must be installed in the correct position using the hardware provided. The glass pieces must be carefully handled and installed correctly.

Since our pre-built saunas are made-to-order, the instructions provided are for general guidance, and not intended to be a perfect step-by-step for your exact model.

There are quite a few wires to run, even in a traditional sauna. Our panels ship with conduit pre-installed for all of your wires. After the structure is built those wires need to pulled through the conduit for: LED lights, temperature sensor, wall control, and heater.

A traditional sauna is a high-voltage appliance, final wiring of the electrical components and connection to your dedicated sauna circuit must be performed by a licensed electrician.

All of our Pre-Built saunas require at least 2 people to assemble. 3 people are recommended to install our outdoor models. The Axis model is the easiest to install, but still requires 2 people.

How heavy is a Pre-Built sauna?

An indoor Pre-Built sauna, including the rock-filled heater, weighs 1100-1800 lbs.

An outdoor Pre-Built sauna, including the rock-filled heater, weighs 1500-2300 lbs.

How can I schedule a site visit?

If you are within an hour's drive of one of our Symmetry estimators, we would love to come out and meet you. If we don't have a team member in your immediate area, a video call is the next best thing. What does delivery look like?

Your Pre-Built sauna will be delivered on a large truck, usually 40' or longer. If your location is inaccessible to a normal delivery truck you will need to make separate arrangements to pick your crate up at the shipping hub.

Do you cover all material shipping as well?

Our saunas are transported by freight companies to all parts of the lower 48. Shipping is always included in your sauna quote.
